How can I become a hacker?

I want to be a hacker really bad. I realize my English is not very good. Anyway, I did what I could, tried to learn C++, C#, MSSql, but I'm stuck now. I've changed my OS from WinXP to Linux, dumped all of my games. I used to spend most of my time learning C++ in order to become a hacker. But now I don't know anymore what should I study, I don't know what it takes to be a hacker. So how should i proceed further? Someone please help me!
