Most wanted:

major features

Better drawing tools and ballons. In particular:

vector arrows;

vector objects;

drawing above the widgets.

Larger workspace:

for example by creating an endless workspace (like in maps services) and saving the coordinates.

More tools for changing text appearance:

lance: I think it would be worth it to add some color

WYSIWIG as final goal.

Tools for understanding who and what is write in widget:

lance: Something always necessary, but expensive. "A la lazerpod" . Yes.

lance: I think it would be worth doing "Lebedev-style baloons"

Undo for drawing.

For presentations:

In edit mode "Play" button which run view in slides mode.

Send link to presentation mode.

it should can embed wall newspaper as presentation in a third-part site.

Bookmarklet, with create new wall newspaper with current URL in background and add text widget. If wall newspaper with same URL already exist, user will be asked about what he wants: create new or use old newspaper. If user choose to use old, send him to old wall newspaper, save old version and show what other people wrote.

Little improvements.

Lance: I think, a double click on canvas should open widget with text.
