We’re pleased to announce that the next update for Football Manager Live, version 1.1.2 will be soon heading into BETA testing with the intention of going live in the next few weeks.

Although not a major update, it will fix a variety of small bugs and issues that should improve the game.

Stadiums

- 3475 - Added some tooltips to the team stadium panel to make it a little clearer exactly what each hading etc means

- 3714 - Fixed a bug in which if a stadium had no capacity (because of expansion work in progress) fans would still turn up!

- 3732 - Fixed an issue whereby it was possible for stadium repair costs to be £0, the minimum cost for repairs is now £1

- 3816 - Fixed a bug in which it was possible to remove the pitch side adverts from the stadium

- 3820 - Fixed a typo on the stadium panel

- 3817 - Fixed an issue in which the time remaining on in-progress construction work would change depending on the construction company selected for future work

- Made a change so that the construction company selected on the 'Edit Details' dialog is now remembered from one session to the next allowing a default to be set

- Fixed an issue in which changing the construction company half way through an editing session wouldn't update any elements already changed

- Fixed an issue in which when changing from one construction company to another the fee would not be updated

- Fixed an issue in which the construction cost would not be rounded correctly in some cases

- Made a change to ensure that construction costs never take into account fees if you are using your own construction company (not applicable in the current release as it isn't possible to set a construction fee anyway.)

- Added a nifty little compass icon to the stadium panel so it is now clearer to see exactly which direction is North!

- Made a change to the way the default construction company is selected, so now, if the user has a Construction skill as good as, or better than the SI Construction Company it will default to the user

- Added some warning text on the confirmation dialog to tell the user if they would save money, time, or both by choosing a different construction company from the one selected.

- Highlighted some of the warnings in red when confirming changes to your stadium, this should make it clearer when changes are, for example, going to bring about a drop in overall capacity.

- Fixed an issue in which the financial projection code wasn't correctly simulating stadium construction (so it wouldn't work out correctly that stadium capacity was due to increase during the projection period.)

- Fixed a bug in which stadium construction could, under some circumstances, take a slightly different amount of time than originally indicated

Squad happiness

- Some teams who were performing well would still find their players were upset - for example even though a team may be ranked 5th in their FA their players could expect them to be 2nd and so complain. This has been tweaked now so only the most ambitious/disloyal/unprofessional players will still complain in this sort of situation

- Sometimes teams were lower than they should be through no fault of their own. For example one of the best sides in the FA could outside of the top league. In this situation it doesn't make sense for players to get upset that they are not in the top 10 in the FA because it isn't possible given their current division. A change has been made here to ensure players have realistic expectations as to their FA ranking based not only on the quality of their side relative to the other teams but also based on the competition they are currently in.

Moderation

- Fixed an issue in which a user couldn't be given another red card until his current one expired completely, leading to a situation in which mods had to rescind a red to issue another one.

- 3800 - Added a popup which contains up to 25 lines of chat text in a format which can be copied to the clipboard.

Insurance

- Fix for injury insurance non-payout. Never trust an insurance company.

News

- 3765 - News item informs user that players contracts are about to expire although they are not.

- 3746 - Unreadable text appears in news item.

- 3794 - Fixed a bug that was causing additional ban lengths for disciplinary committee meetings to be twice as long as they should be

- Fixed a bug that would cause some teams to be described as the 'reigning champions' (referring to the gameworld champion) when in fact, they were not

Skills

- Fixed a bug which was causing the Commercial Skill to be ignored when calculating a team’s financial projection. NOTE : The Commercial skill was still taking effect when calculating daily income.

- User unlocks all hat trick achievements after player scores clubs first hat trick

- Fixed a bug in which when using the skill planner the times to learn higher levels of the skill you were currently learning would be wrong.

- Made a change to the Commercial skill to ensure that when the handover takes place in a world to the new economic model (with stadium income) the boost the Commercial skill provides is quadrupled - to compensate for the fact that the daily income is quartered. This ensures the same boost in actual cash in both economic models.

Activity rating

- Introduced the concept of a youth activity rating which runs alongside the senior activity rating and is used for youth matches (as well as fitness processing for U21 players)

User Interface

- 3718 - Fixed an issue in which if the game world champion was on your contact list their crown would not show up

Awards

- Fixed issue where the start and end date/times were being displayed incorrectly on the GOTW award profiles

Misc

- 3786 - Fixed an issue in which it was possible for Natural Fitness to increase for goalkeepers

- Fixed an issue that would cause the memory used by FML to creep up slowly as you browsed around screens, which would eventually slow the game down

- Fixed a bug which was causing player ages for regens to, under some circumstances, increase by more than one year at the end of a season

Cache Management

- when user signs out, then manage the cache once (prune the cache folder, if necessary)

- when the user changes cache settings, do the same

- made the cache pruning more aggressive due to the way some people play the game (monster sessions which cause them to exceed the limit)
